Who we are looking for

As Product Manager you will help create the long-term strategies and vision for Marshmallow Games' products, working with a large degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for the roadmap and product KPIs. You will work with project managers, developers and designers to ensure that data-driven products are created that meet the needs of our users.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Define the long-term vision according to the growth objectives we want to achieve. Knowing how to communicate the vision to the whole team, making sure it is shared and adopted;
  • Define the product roadmap and make sure it is followed;
  • Propose and formalize new features that make the product grow by ensuring that they are validated by a correct sample of people. Motivate other team members to propose new features in turn;
  • Commit yourself passionately to promote a constant improvement of the product UX;
  • Work with the Data Science team to define the KPIs that will guide the choices of the roadmap and in general the future of the product;
  • To devise, propose and then evaluate A/B tests on the product that are formally measurable and can lead, in an iterative way, to the improvement of performance.
  • Use A/B testing, market research and user interviews to identify customer needs and increase their enjoyment of the product;
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Data Science, Engineering and Art teams making sure they are interacting best for product growth;
  • Share knowledge with other teams, providing constructive and actionable feedback. Always be available to receive comments and questions about your work with the right positive attitude;
  • Being obsessed with the latest market trends, the developments of competing products and the behavior of our users to always seek new opportunities for improvement and growth.

Age is not a requirement for us, our ideal product manager is a motivated person, who has a passion for innovation and is predisposed to continuous updating.

Must have

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or roles that have made you manage a digital product and multidisciplinary teams independently;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in publishing digital products or services, participating in the entire development cycle: design, creation, execution, QA, growth etc.;
  • In-depth knowledge of the deliverables that characterize the UX world (personas, journey map, user flow etc); 
  • Experience in translating UX testing and feedback into new features;
  • Experience with data-driven design and decisions;
  • Experience with analytics systems and ability to read data in depth;
  • Communication experience with both creative and technical teams;
  • Excellent analytical logic skills;
  • Ability to plan for the long term and to quickly adapt their plans to new requests/needs;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. 

Nice to have

  • Experience in consumer products, preferably kids, gaming, mobile or educational;
  • Preferably technical or business background;
  • Work experience completely in English;
  • Cambridge Assessment English level C1 (BEC) certificate or equivalent;
  • Master's degree in technology or business;
  • Knowing how to create low fidelity mockups to define user and UX flows.

Our latest product Smart Tales ( is the Netflix of interactive stories focused on learning STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for children aged 3 and over and represents the fruit of our experience in these years in the world of children's apps. Smart Tales has received numerous awards and accolades and has been “App of the Day”on the App Store in over 50 countries.
